Another addition to the Space room!
I have a similar bedspread in brown, and mid-century pillows for my Space room in green and brown.

I love the bold design of this one!
My two, triple tiered blond end tables arrived yesterday, and they look amazing! Will assemble them today, I can't wait!
Happy Friday, I hope all my friends in Japan are safe, my thoughts go out to them today! I'm near-ish the southern California coast, so the tsunami waves are due to hit in.. Minutes!

That bedspread is SO COOL!! I'm totally jealous...I have two young boys and that would be perfect for them. Where on earth did you find it?!

ReplyDeletelol DeanO. Do what I do and work ALL the time! =)
ReplyDeleteI like my house to have that masculine/feminine balance. Dunno why, I guess most of my friends are men, and I don't want to freak them out when they visit by having all pink frills lol...
I'd love to find something like this for my grandson!
ReplyDeleteThis is AWESOME! Sometimes I think I'm a little boy stuck in a grown woman's body lol. I would seriously want to get out some spaceship toys and just let my imagination run wild in this room. ;-)~
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteFabulous bed spread! I love the color!!
ReplyDeleteStay safe..have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteLove the bedspread! Better be careful, the Smithsonian will want that room!
ReplyDeleteJim
The bedspread looks like something my first husband would have had--he was born in 1948 and spent his childhood in LA (as you know from his address stamped in the book). I hope the tsunami petered itself out well before it even reached Hawaii, much less you!
ReplyDeletegreat find, can't wait tos ee the space room all done! Hope you didn't get flooded.
ReplyDeleteHow do I contact the writer of this blog? None of your CONTACT info works. Maybe I am blind but i looked all over for 'CONTACT US', and could not find it. I want to know where you got some finials on the turquoise lamps. my email is StEpHaNiEiNtHeLp@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletePLEASE, PLEASE, please contact me so I can get that info I cant sign up for this it doesn't work.
Thanks Stephani
Great bedspread and i love the colour, have a lovely weekend, dee x
ReplyDeleteHi stephani, which lamps do you mean? The one's I just posted about a few days ago?
ReplyDeleteThey were sold with the lamps. =)
They seem to be the most common mid-century style finial, as most of my lamps have them. I buy everything on eBay. =D
Thanks everyone for all your comments!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get the other two rooms painted, then I'll paint this one (my office/space room). What do you think? A pale turquoise? It's been a 1950's pale blue forever, originally a pale yellow.
