And. . . I Keep Missing The Closing Bid!

I have greatly curtailed my buying lately, but once in a while, I see something I like, for what looks like, it will close at a great price.

Well they do, and even though I am sitting right here, I keep forgetting about them when they end, right in front of my face ha ha.

Oh well, I keep shrugging it off... But it still annoys the heck out of me lol...

Thanks everyone for all your chocolate advice last post.

And our friend zootsuitmama is inspiring me to try to pull the living room togeather so I can decorate for the holidays, starting with Halloween. Two more days and it will be October! Yea!!

  4. Decide on how much you are willing to spend, place your bid and then walk away...not only will you not get caught up in a bidding war, you may get pleasently surprised when you win, cheers Katherine

  6. Ah I keep doing this too! I'm only bidding on cheap stuff at the moment, but you kind of know when something is going to go cheap, listed wrong, bad photo or whatever, and I've kicked myself several times lately, it's annoying isn't it?

  9. Dont you just HATE THAT! In december I kept a close watch of a sunburst clock on my moms cell phone, and in the last hour of bidding WE GET INVITED TO A DINNER PARTY?!?!!? I felt kind of rude sitting at these people dinning table watch the count down but we ALL celebrated when the clock was won for $14 :)

  10. I know how you feel. I hate feeling like I missed a great deal. I recently lost a Craigslist transaction for a $40 danish hutch because I had to attend a birthday dinner. It has been three weeks and I'm still bitter!
