I love YouTube. You can find so many wonderful vids to watch.
Here are a sample of the many 1950's TV commercials you can find. A great resource to fashion and what was hot back in the day!
Two cars per family! What a concept!
A compilation of commercials from the 50's and 60's. I remember these!

I just love You Tube for things like this! Awesome picks!
ReplyDeleteThese are so entertaining! I can't believe the one with Mike Wallace talking about Fluffo!
ReplyDeleteLove that garage in the Two Ford Family commercial and that dancing cigarette pack and matchbox combo in the last selection - good, huh? Made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's the first time I've ever seen the full ipana ad (as seen in Grease).
I think my favorite was the song that was sung after the "Bobbi" commercial! Thanks for these! I love those big old cars and cute hairstyles!!
ReplyDeleteI have a 3-CD set called "1001 Classic Commercials" featuring Speedy Alka-Seltzer, Barbie, Silly Putty, Ajax and lots more. I watch it and it immediately makes me want to sit right in front of the TV, watch the commercials and wait for the Howdy Doody show to come back on!
ReplyDeleteHow fun are those? Some of those products don't even sound real. lol
ReplyDeleteLove the Ford commercial. lol
