1950's Family Christmas Photos

1950s-christmas-pic1

Oh, these are not MY family photos lol. I don't think my folks took any photos during Christmas after the first few years. None that I have seen.

Were your parents big on photographing holidays?

But these are always sweet to look at. This top one, and two more similar look almost like they were modeled, but who knows. Check out the room details:

And the adorable gift wrapping:

Awwww look how happy these kids are:

And a color photo! Wow. Did Mom get a nice set of flatware?

Hope you have many old holiday photos to remind you of the good old days!

  1. You have an award waiting for you @ my blog!

I told you about it a few days ago, but m'bad! I didn't verify the "post comment" I don't think, therefore, you didn't get word.

    Love the pics, as usual.

  2. If I can ever bring myself to go up in my Dad's attic, he has 100's and 100's of old photos and slides including lots of Xmas pix. I think next time I go see him (which will be soon since he's back in the hospital) I'll do it. I have an old photo of me & my sisters with a department store Santa that I KNOW is around here somewhere . . .

  3. Thank so kindly, Marilisa =D I checked it out and saw that you mentioned my blog, I will do the same. =)

I'd so love to add to your ideas (I'm sure you are familiar with them already, the "sandbag stacking" idea is one of them) and will do so as I make time.
