A Tribute to Mid-Century Hand Thrown Pottery

I’m not sure why I got to thinking about these. Mom had a couple of these I kept, but they are something I could have easily thrown out.

I’m talking about those insignificant little hand made pots with earth tone drip and sand glazes.

Most people would consider these ugly, and it took me until today when I did a search to appreciate them.

I like the little hand made one’s, signed or initialed by the artist.

Check these examples out. Most are quite small but interesting. Most are under $20, but one is priced at $600. Can you tell which one?
